The Super Yacht Coatings team in Tauranga have been busy, with M/Y Black Pearl and S/Y Encore both in town for refits. It was all hands on deck this week, when M/Y Black Pearl was lifted for a full repaint, while the finishing touches on a full repaint/refit were completed on S/Y Encore. These are two of the first super yachts to be repainted at the brand-new Tauranga Marine Precinct – where Super Yacht Coatings plan to build a large "state-of-the-art" repainting/refit facility. When completed, the shed will be capable of housing yachts of up to 50 metres in length. The new 350 tonne travel lift based at the precinct will come in very handy lifting boats in and out of the shed when it’s done!
